Any SEO campaign starts with your own website.

Number one – get yourself a domain name (website name) that has word “roofing” in it and preferably your geographic location. For example, www.Roofing-MA.com would be an excellent website name for a roofing contractor serving Massachusetts area. It is easy to remember, clearly says what the business is all about, short, and most important – has two major keywords in the domain name  – Roofing and MA. Therefore, if someone searches Google for “roofing ma” or “ma roofing”, chances are, www.roofing-ma.com will come up first or in top three, even if it is poorly optimized.

Too bad roofing-ma,com is already taken. But there are plenty of good, localized domain names still available!
